O, my! I cannot believe this. I sat and watched this entire video with my mouth gaping! I have been to Morocco. I have heard the "call to prayer" of the Muslims. I can say from my personal experience that you can feel the spiritual oppression in Muslim countries. This video scares me to death. America the next Muslim nation? Talk about Spirital Warfare!
Under modernity, with it's emphasis on politics and reason, we had a world clashing over political systems: Nazism vs Communism vs Capitalism etc.
Now, with the rise of Postmodernity and its emphasis on the "new" spiritualism and subjectivism, we have shifted to a clash of Religions: Islam vs Hinduism (Pakistan and India); Judaism vs Islam; and nearly everything vs Christianity. We even have "wars" within Religions, such as moderate Islam vs the Wahabbi (radical) version, and in the case of Christianity, we have the rise of this new movement of "revolutionaries" within Christianity itself challenging the "religiosity" of "institutional" Christianity.
Having said all that, what lies behind all of it of course, is the kingdom of darkness at war with the forces of the kingdom of Light...and so we set our jaw and advance with this ferocious love..."From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it." - Matthew 11:12

After the President's recent address at the City Club of Cleveland,Ohio a question-and-answer session was held. I listened to a question and the Presidents response then I switched off the radio and reflected on the only thing that stuck in my mind. A term used by a member of the audience, "Militant Christians". This term was new to me, perhaps I lead a sheltered life. Have I missed some news? Are Christians killing by the thousands with hijacked airplanes? Are Churches in America used for weapons storage? Do Bible studies include bomb making classes? Contrasting the The term "Militant Islamist" could someone give me an example of a "Militant Christian"?
