"Man" on display at zoo!

LONDON - Caged and barely clothed, eight men and women monkeyed around for the crowds Friday in an exhibit labeled "Humans" at the London Zoo.

"Warning: Humans in their Natural Environment" read the sign at the entrance to the exhibit, where the captives could be seen on a rock ledge in a bear enclosure, clad in bathing suits and pinned-on fig leaves. Some played with hula hoops, some waved.

Visitors stopped to point and laugh, and several children could be heard asking, "Why are there people in there?"

Well, the answer to that last question ought to provide ample room for evangelistic maneuver. What is the difference between humans and apes, or bears, or elephants? Answer that...and you're on your way to investigating the Imago Dei.

Absolute silliness really.
First of all it seems it would be more realistic to put "humans" on display in thier natural environments which would be homes or offices, or mock up cities, or towns.
Modern western mankind has no idea how to live with out electricity, gas, money, so on. Besides to have these folks just lounging around all day is also a false picture of what mankind did before modern conviences. Man has always worked. Adam was given a stewardship over the garden. And after the fall, Mankind farmed, gathered, hunted, and cared for thier families, old and young. Thier social order was actually healthier than ours today. We are a mess with our isolationism, absent parents, and latch key kids.
These humans on display are such a gross depection of how man has lived. I really detest how evolutionist are so bent on degrading the dignity of the human race. We are not perfect by any stretch, but we are sacred creations of the most High God. It is our rebellion against God that causes us to be ugly, perverse and moronic.
I actually have never liked zoos. They do the rest of the animmal kingdom an injustice as well since lions don't sit around all day either. It is so sad. Man is so bent on entertainment, we are so bored. What is wrong with us? We have moved so far from the image of God, we are losing our identity. We are just lost and harrassed sheep. I Praise God for the Love of Jesus who was able to look out over all mankind and pray for us, "Father forgive them, they don't know what they are doing."

Matt...we haven't heard from you and you usually post at least once daily. My prayer is that you are safe and able to make an impact on the devastation around you.
